We've partnered with Music Cities Together on a 5-minute survey to measure how the shutdown is impacting the music community. The results will help us tell a data-driven story about how COVID-19 is impacting the local music community and help us understand how best to advocate for their needs.
In addition, Music Everywhere CLT is partnering with FAIR PLAY Music Equity Initiative on the Charlotte Music Community COVID-19 Relief Fund. Information from this survey will help us determine how best to target this fund to those in the music community most in need. Learn more about the fund here.
Who should take the survey? We need to hear from all segments of the Charlotte music ecosystem. Music creatives, venue owners and staff, promoters, festivals, recording studios, record labels and management, production support, music development and/or manufacturing, and anyone else who derives at least part of their income from music.
We know that taking a survey is not highest on your list of priorities right now. But we are determined to support the Charlotte music community during this crisis, and we are equally determined for us to emerge from this ready to rock, rap, thrash, spin, swing, and roll. To do that, we need information. So please. Take five to answer a few questions. And spread the word.
Please note: A completed survey will be a requirement for us to review your application for the relief fund. If you plan to apply to the relief fund, please provide your email in the survey. All results of the survey are completely confidential and we will not attach your email to the survey results.
